Clinic Lead - Dry Eye Manager

LeeAnn has been an integral part of Urban Optics since early 2021. She began her journey with us as a receptionist, and her experience at the front desk provided the foundation for her growth into a highly skilled clinical technician. With a deep passion for helping others, LeeAnn takes great pride in establishing a top-tier Dry Eye Clinic, offering much-needed relief to patients. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she is committed to truly understanding and addressing each patient's unique needs. Outside of work, LeeAnn loves spending quality time with her son, fiancé, and dogs, as well as indulging in a bit of shopping.

Georgi is a welcoming presence where her bright smile and genuine care instantly put patients at ease. She's dedicated to understanding each person's needs and ensuring they feel supported throughout their visit. Outside of work, Georgi is devoted to her faith and known for her bubbly, uplifting spirit that makes every space she's in a little brighter.

With years of experience in the optical field, Hunter is a go-to expert for all things eyewear. From helping patients find the perfect frames to guiding them through the best lens options, his knowledge is both deep and dependable. Known for his friendly nature and willingness to help, Hunter always makes patients feel comfortable and confident in their choices. He's a trusted part of our team and a familiar face that patients love to see.

Optical Manager, A.B.O. Certified

​​​​​​​Savannah began working for Urban Optics in March of 2022. She loves the optical side of optometry and finds herself constantly wanting to grow and broaden her knowledge, ensuring she is able to help all our patient's needs with frames and lenses. Savannah brings personality, customer service and creativity to the Urban Family. At home, she spends time with her 3 dogs, painting murals and playing her ukulele.

Addyson thrives in communications, where she gets to blend patient care with clear, easy-to-understand information. When she’s not helping people see better, she’s diving into her kinesiology studies or hitting the road for a spontaneous adventure. Passionate about helping others, she’s always looking for new ways to make a positive impact through both her work and studies.

Jennifer McLemore

Insurance Manager/Specialist

Jennifer has been with the Urban Optics team since August 2016. She does a little bit of everything; from making sure every patient's insurance is used to its full potential, to helping patients pick out the perfect pair of glasses for each unique personality. Originally from San Antonio, Jennifer moved here with her husband of 8 years. In March of 2020 she welcomed her daughter Tara into the world. Some of her favorite things include spending time with her husband and little girl, Aggie Baseball, music and good food.

Billing / Insurance Specialist

Barbara has been in the optical business for about 25 years and has been with Dr. Greene ever since he started 21 years ago! She is in charge of our billing department and files claims with our patient’s insurance companies. Barb has been married for 45 years, has 2 sons, 3 grandsons and loves spending time with all of them.

Paige Vecera

Contact Lens Manager. CPO & CPOA

Paige has been working in the eye care industry for over 10 years and has been with Urban Optics family since April of 2019. Paige Oversees the coordination of contact lenses, including ordering and replenishing supplies as needed, instructing technicians on the latest technological advancements in contact lenses, and insertion and removal training with patients. She is deeply passionate about supporting our specialty contact lens patients and is committed to delivering an outstanding contact lens experience to each individual. Outside of work, she embraces the roles of a devoted mother to newborn twins and a lively seven-year-old, as well as a loving wife to her husband of eight years. . She enjoys wine and aspires to one day learn the craft of winemaking.

Edgar

Edgar Hernandez

Lab Director

Edgar has been our Lab Manager for over 8 years and has become very well educated on the production equipment as well as the physics of optical lenses making him able to cut lenses for the majority of the glasses we sell. Edgar appreciates the finer things in life and pays great attention to detail, ensuring all patients receive the highest quality in product when shopping with Urban Optics. In his free time he loves spending time with family and listening to music.

Kayla began working at Urban Optics in 2018. She is a graduate of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘19 and loves creating a positive work environment for all our employees. She is devoted to creating an office culture of professionalism, teamwork and growth. When not at work, you will find her watching aggie football, socializing or traveling with family and friends!

Eryn Brotchrup

Sales Director – A.B.O. Certified

​​​​​​​Eryn is our most experienced optical technician with 20 years under her belt. She is certified by the American Board of Opticians, graduate of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of ‘03, and has been with Dr. Greene for the last 15 years. She is devoted to great customer service and making sure you love your glasses. When not at the office, she can be found playing with her 4 kids and husband. There is no better person to turn to in the Brazos Valley for all your glasses needs.

Steve Greene

Director of Facilities & Marketing / Leadership - A.B.O. Certified

​​​​​​​Steve has over 20 years in sales and customer service so it was an easy decision to join his brother in creating Urban Optics. Building Urban Optics from the very beginning, he has worn many hats through the years and currently ensures that our technology, marketing and facilities are operating smoothly. Ensuring patient satisfaction has always been his strength and he continues that to this day.
